DUAL SOUND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a change in a sound output state in changing over processors in a dual sound processing system and to enhance the reliability of the system. SOLUTION: The dual sound processing system is provided with a first processor 22 for applying a sound process to an inputted sound signal; a second processor 23 for applying the sound process to the sound signal; a main PC 31 for outputting a data setting instruction for the sound process to the first processor 22; a sub PC 33 connected through the main PC 31 and a communication line 32 and used for obtaining information on the sound process by the main PC 31 to output the data setting instruction for the sound process to the second processor 23; and a switcher 24 for changing-over and selecting the output from the first processor 22 or the output from the second processor 23 to output the sound-processed sound signal. In addition to the dual processors, the dual operation is also applied to the PCs. This dual system prevents the change in the sound output state in changing over the processors and enhances the reliability of the system. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
