PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control transmitter of a preset type capable of remote-controlling a plurality of electronic devices at a low cost and easily storing data to its microcomputer and to provide a transmission system employing the remote control transmitter. SOLUTION: The remote control transmitter is configured such that a storage section 12 of the remote control transmitter stores bit data A, B, C,... of a plurality of transmission formats A, B, C,..., a control section 13 reads the corresponding bit data from the storage section 12 on the basis of a deploy program and a common program to create a prescribed transmission format.
