PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugated fiber which has brilliant color developability, brilliant gloss and excellent hygroscopicity, has good dyeability, and does not cause troubles such as whitening due to the interfacial separation of the conjugated components on practical uses. SOLUTION: This conjugated fiber comprising a mixture component as a sheath component and a thermoplastic resin (C) having a melting point of≥160°C as a core component is characterized in that the core component has four or more arranged projections on an interface with the sheath component and that the ratio of the outer peripheral length (L2) of the core component to the outer peripheral length (L1) of the fiber satisfies the following expression: 1.6≤X/Y [X is the (L2/L1) ratio of the outer peripheral length (L2) of the core component to the outer peripheral length (L1) of the fiber; Y is the weight conjugation ratio of the core component, when the total weight of the fiber is 1]. The mixture component is a mixture obtained by melt-kneading an ethylene-vinylalcohol-based copolymer (A) having an ethylene content of 25 to 70 mol.% and a polyamide resin (B), and contains 5 to 75 wt.% of components insoluble in DMSO at 60°C.
