RESIN COMPOSITION FOR EXTERNAL SURFACE-CORROSIONPROOF PIPE FITTING AND EXTERNAL SURFACE-CORROSIONPROOF PIPE FITTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for an external surface-corrosionproof pipe fitting which is difficult for a coating layer and a pipe fitting main body to slip on clamping when applied even without using an adhesive layer, and excels in heat resistance, low-temperature impact, and chemical resistance, and the external surface-corrosionproof pipe fitting obtained by being coated with the resin composition. SOLUTION: The resin composition for the external surface-corrosionproof pipe fitting comprises (A) a polyolefin-based resin and (B) a polyphenylene ether-based resin at a weight ratio of the content of (A) to that of (B) of 50/50 to 95/5. The external surface-corrosionproof pipe fitting can be obtained by coating it with the above resin composition for the external surface- corrosionproof pipe fitting. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
