PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chassis for an optical element having resistance against temperature changes in the environment and maintaining the strength of a lid part while suppressing the thickness of the chassis for an optical element. SOLUTION: The main body of the chassis for an optical element is provided with a recessed part to mount the optical element and a temperature control element.
