FIELD: oil- field water processing. SUBSTANCE: formation water from wells watered to 98-100% is first filtered to remove suspension impurities, whereupon strontium sulfate is added, and the total is refiltered to separate barium sulfate. To filtrate, gypsum water ((CaSO4.2H2O)) is added at 50-70 C and resulting strontium sulfate is filtered off. EFFECT: enabled industrial utilization of formation water providing useful commercial produce: strontium and barium sulfates. 2 cl, 1 dwg
