PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and easily find a person to be searched. SOLUTION: A tracing assistance device 2 gaining position information from a GPS satellite 3 and a monitor center 5 monitoring a person to be searched who has the tracing assistance device 2 are connected by way of a communication line 4. The tracing assistance device 2 renewably stores an image data obtained by photographing the person to be searched.
