PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transceiver for preventing the propagation of any noise from an internal circuit to a transmission electrode by separating the transmission electrode from the internal circuit when this transceiver is not in a transmission state. SOLUTION: When a transceiver 3 receives a data packet to be transmitted from a wearable computer 1, a one-shot multivibrator 111 detects the start of the data packet, and keeps a first analog switch 104 turned on for a prescribed time since the start time and the data packet is transmitted from a transmission circuit 103 to a transmission electrode, so that an electric field is induced in a living body 100 through the transmission electrode 105 and transmitted to the other sites of the living body. Then, the one-shot multivibrator 111 turns off the first analog switch 104 beyond the prescribed time, and disconnects the transmission circuit 103 or a level adjusting circuit 102 or the like from the transmission electrode 105 in order not to transmit the noise of a power source from the transmission circuit 103 or the level adjusting circuit 102 to the transmission electrode 105.
