PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability of tunnel construction work by enabling support assembling work at a part near to a heading and facilitating the support assembling work in a support assembling device, its method and a tunnel excavator. SOLUTION: In a TBM 10, a support frame 19 is extended from a shell body 11 having a cutter head 13 rearward, and the supporting assembling device 31 is provided on the support frame 19. The support assembling device 31 is composed of a support receiving base 32 receiving support T, right and left supporting mechanisms 40 and 41 for support the support T, enabling movement upward and enabling carrying frontward, and a support enlarging mechanism 57 assembling the support T on a tunnel inner wall face.
