A filter sector ( 1 ) for rotary disc filters comprises two outer walls ( 4, 5 ) of filter cloth defining a fitrate chamber ( 15 ) for receiving filtrate that has flowed through the outer walls. The outer walls of filter cloth are pleated to form a plurality of ridges and valleys as seen from outside the filter sector. Two liquid permeable support walls ( 11, 12 ) that solely support the valleys of the two outer walls ( 4, 5 ) of filter cloth, respectively, are arranged in the filtrate chamber and define a filtrate channel ( 14 ) with a filtrate outlet ( 3 ). |
