PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device which can suppress the vibration of a transverse module. SOLUTION: The device is provided with vibration detection means 9a and 9b which are provided at the transverse module 2 for detecting the vibration of a disk 29 at least in one of its radial direction and tangential direction and reverse vibration generation means 10a, 10b, 20, 30 and 40 which are provided across a base chassis and the transverse module 2, generates reverse vibration cancelling the vibration of the transverse module 2 based on the vibration at least in one of the detected radial direction and tangential direction and gives it to the transverse module 2.
