<p>A combined roof / window moulding is mounted continuously along the edges of both a vehicle roof and window (see figure 1). The moulding comprises a decorative U-shaped member 4 having a hollow 9 formed on its underside by supporting portions 10,11. This moulding when located along the edge of the roof (see figures 8 to 10) may be located within a channel (23) formed at the edge of the roof by two overlapping panels (24,25), and may have a filling member (7) inserted with it. The moulding member may be held in place inside the channel by various means (see figures 8 to 10). When the moulding member is located along the edge of the window (see figures 6, 7 and 11) a further moulding member (6) is located within the hollow so as to hold the window (28) adjacent to the vehicle body panel. The second moulding member (6) may have a drainage channel (17) and may be held in place by various means (see figures 6 and 11).</p> |
