FIELD: machine engineering, namely pipeline fitting, namely controlling flows of working fluid in different industry branches. SUBSTANCE: ball cock includes housing with inlet and outlet branch pipes. In housing are arranged: spindle, rotary shut-off organ having flow- through duct, lower and upper spherical supports and seat with sealings. Upper spherical support is mounted in spindle eccentrically relative to rotation axis. Lower support is mounted eccentrically relative to rotation axis of shut-off organ. Lower and upper spherical supports have the same eccentricity value. Eccentricity axis of lower support is normal relative to axis of branch pipes of housing. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability, increased useful life period of ball cock. 3 dwg |
