SUBSTANCE: combined plasma spraying or welding- on of working layer on outer surface of cylinder is performed at rotary motion of this cylinder. Pressure of 100 Pa is built up inside cylinder by means of vacuum system. Vacuum arc discharge at density of 60 kA/ sq m is excited and rigidly interconnected electrodes of vacuum-arc and plasma treatment are moved in synchronism. Ends of said electrodes are accurately opposite on either side of thin wall of cylinder.
