METHOD FOR MAKING ARC-SHAPED NETWORKS

FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly manufacture of strainers for sealings of high-reliability flange joints of oil- and gas pipelines. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of cutting-through blank and stretching it for forming during each stroke of die set one row of meshes along the whole width of blank; at each successive stroke of die set shifting apexes of meshes of one row relative to apexes of meshes of another row by value equal to half size of mesh in horizontal direction; forming each successive mesh in direction from outer edge of blank to its inner edges with size in vertical direction less than that of previous mesh by value determined according to condition of arranging ends of vertical axes of meshes of said row by shifting angle alpha; determining value of said angle according to given relation. EFFECT: possibility for making arc-shaped cut-through networks with predetermined curvature radius almost equal to that of ready articles and with desired mechanical properties. 2 dwg
