REGULAR PACKING FOR HEAT-AND-MASS EXCHANGE APPARATUS

FIELD: chemical, oil-refining and other industries; rectification, extraction and sorption processes. SUBSTANCE: regular packing includes rectangular housing and parallel corrugated sheets with slots at corrugation vertices; length of said slots exceeds width of strips. Blind plate connected to lower edge of slot and bent over radius above upper edge is used for reducing foaming of liquid phase; its other end rests against plate of superposed corrugation; labyrinth plates are mounted near edges of slots. Horizontally corrugated sheets are made from louver screen; edges of louver are directed in way of motion of liquid phase. Each horizontally corrugated sheet is provided with overflow unit in its upper portion; this overflow unit is connected with tubular distributor through hydraulic seal.
