<p>Disclosed are a multi-profile consisting of a double-profile unit alone or a plurality of double-profile units in combination, useful for the production of a spiral synthetic resin pipe, and a method for producing the same. A rectangular multi-profile is produced through a die with double or multiple extrusion holes positioned at an end of an extruder. Each double-profile unit has two compartments surrounded by partitions in a structure such that the partition between the compartments is cut to connect the compartments or is grooved at an upper and a lower position. In the case of the formation of grooves, they are filled with a polyethylene resin. The multi-profile is advantageous in that the multi-profile is not shrunk or bent when it is cooled, a spiral synthetic resin pipe is produced in large quantities for a short time, and production cost is reduced because resin for connecting profiles to each other is saved by combining profiles.</p> |
