The invention concerns a control member comprising an arm (21) sliding in a sheath (20) whereof the inclination can be modified and which is supported by three tensed cables (25; 26; 27) arranged in a triangle and unwinding with resistance from force-feedback motors (16; 17; 18). The handle (23) of the control member can be displaced in translation along at least three degrees of freedom without any risk of contact with the cables; the control member is simple, inexpensive and has suitable stiffness. Means for generating friction, capable of forming another motor-driven tensed cable, is placed between the sheath (20) and the arm (21). Said member can be used for remote manipulation, telesurgery, computer-aided design, games. |
