<p>A perfect bound book construction is disclosed in which the book (B) has a book block (BB) comprising a plurality of text pages (P), and a soft paper cover (C). The inner and outer faces of the cover (C) are laminated with a plastic film so as to form a double laminated cover (DLC) at a lamination station (301). Apparatus for and a method of printing books by a cover printer (114) on demand with such double laminated covers is also disclosed.</p> |
