<p>The invention relates to a method and a system (900) for content activation. The invention relates specifically to ordering, authenticating and taking into use electronic services by means of a terminal (600) connected to a data transmission network (907). In the method of the invention, a software product needed for performance of at least one conditional content to be delivered via a data transmission network (907) is delivered to the user’s terminal (600) for ordering and performance of conditional contents. In accordance with the invention, the authentication request identifying said conditional part is generated by means of a software product delivered to the terminal (600) and the generated authentication request is delivered to the authentication server (800), which subsequently generates the authentication code for delivery to the terminal (600), at least partly based on the delivered authentication request. Finally the authentication code is delivered to the terminal (600) for performance of the conditional content.</p> |
