PURPOSE: A structure of an exhaust manifold is provided to effectively reduce stresses and thermal distortion, while preventing damage of exhaust manifold caused due to fatigue stresses. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust manifold comprises first to fourth runners(1,2,3,4) connected to each exhaust port of an engine, wherein the runners are gathered in the upper portion of a mixing pipe(7) in such a manner that the high temperature exhaust gases passed through each of the runners are mixed in the mixing pipe. A joining portion(10) where the runners are gathered has a convex portions(k1,k2) and a concave portion(k3) which are sequentially formed so as to reduce a thermal distortion caused due to the thermal stresses in the joining portion.
