VEHICLE COLLISION PREVENTING SENSOR USING PHOTONIC QUANTUM RING LASER ARRAY

PURPOSE: Provided is a vehicle collision preventing sensor using photonic quantum ring laser array, which helps to avoid collision by controlling braking or steering system or alarming automatically when vehicles are approached within a certain distance. CONSTITUTION: The sensor consists of: photonic quantum ring laser array which emits different wavelength according to view angle; reflection unit which reflects light emitted from the photonic quantum ring laser array; and detection unit which detects light reflected from reflection unit. The photonic quantum ring laser array and the detection unit are hybrid-integrated sensor chip. The reflection unit is cubic mirror structure. The detection unit includes photo diode which generates voltage responding laser of specific wavelength.
