PURPOSE: Provided are a method for manufacturing a novel appetizer using nixtamalized corn flour dough as a main ingredient and a product with a characteristic taste and flavor obtained thereby. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a novel appetizer is characterized by the steps of: nixtamalizing corn with adding 1.0-1.5% of lime, based on the dried weight of the corn and pulverizing it to give corn flour; kneading the corn flour to give nixtamalized corn flour dough having a moisture content of 45%; and shaping the dough into a desired shape and deep-frying it.
