The invention relates to a filter (10) for tobacco products, comprising a first end filter element (12), a second end filter element (14) and a centra l filter element (16), located between the first and the second end filter element and containing a granular filter material and a wrapping (20), one part of one of the end filter elements (12) being displaceable in relation t o the wrapping (20). The invention also relates to smoking articles comprising filters of this type, to filter strands comprising two or more of the filter s and to methods and devices for producing filters and tobacco products of thi s type.
