The pram has a frame (2) and a seat frame (27) mounted to it. A backrest (3) has a support frame (30) hinged to the seat frame to permit it to pivot about a first axis. A positioner unit (4) has a positioner seat hinged with a rear end to the frame, for pivoting about a second axis parallel to the first one, and a front end connected to the support frame. The unit has a first engagement part on the positioner seat, and a second engagement part fastened moveable to the support frame. An actuator member moves the engagement parts into/out of engagement with each other.
