The chisel holder (20), especially for a road surface cutting machine, is secured by a clamping bolt (15) at the mounting (11) on the road milling roller (10). The outer thread (16) of the clamping bolt and/or the inner thread (14) of the threaded drilling (13) at the holder mounting have a metal layer of zinc and aluminum segments with a chrome oxide bonding agent. The applied metal coating is fired when in place. The coating thickness is 5-10 mu m, and the number of segments per mu m of the coating increases the barrier effect of the coated surfaces. The coating is applied by immersion, centrifugally or spraying, to be dried and then fired at 300 degrees C. The friction value of the screw bond is reduced by the addition of a dry lubricant
