PURPOSE: A multicast packet communicating method using a mobile communication terminal is provided to transfer multimedia contents of a terminal of a user to mobile communication terminals of specific plural receivers for sharing the contents. CONSTITUTION: A transmitter obtains an IP address through a packet data service request(S211). The transmitter selects one of multicast IP addresses belonging to a class D to generate a multicast group(S212). The transmitter informs specific receivers of the generated multicast group(S213). The transmitter terminal generates a character message including the multicast IP address and transmits it to the preset one or more receiver terminals(S214). If the receiver wants to receive the data from the transmitter, he/she joins the multicast group(S215,S218). The receiver obtains an IP address, and search and extracts a desired multicast IP address by using an SDR program(S216,S217). When a receiver terminal newly joins the multicast group, a host transmits an IGMP message to an adjacent multicast router to inform that it has been joined the multicast group, and a router informs other connected multicast routers accordingly(S218). The transmitter selects data to be transmitted in a multicast method and transfers a packet to receiver terminals which has joined the corresponding group(S219). The receiver terminal receives the multicast packet by using a 'receive IP' calculation(S220). When a receiver does not want to receive a multicast packet any more or has received all the data(S221), he/she may leave the multicast group(S222). |
