APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING WATER AND SOLVENT FOR SOLVENT RECOVERY SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus for separating water and solvent for solvent recovery system is provided, which can prevent any vortex phenomena during feeding mixture of organic solvent and collect organic solvent gas, thus reducing emission of organic solvent to atmosphere. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a separation box(10) in which a space is formed to receive and separate mixed liquid of water and organic solvent and at the top of which an air vent(60) is installed; a mixed liquid influent line(20) vertically set in the separation box(10) from top to almost bottom to supply the mixed liquid into the separation box(10); a water discharge line(40) installed at the bottom of the separation box(10) to discharge the separated water; a solvent discharge line(80) installed at almost top part of the separation box(10) to discharge organic solvent separated from the mixed liquid by specific gravity difference; and a gas collecting device(50) installed at the top of the separation box(10) to collect and drop solvent gas evaporated from the organic solvent, and to vent only pure air to atmosphere through the air vent(60).
