<p>A device for tensioning or bracing a belt (12) has a first belt take-up (16) joined to the first end (14) of the belt and a second uptake (20) joined to the second end (18) of the belt (12). At least one of the belt uptakes comprises a housing (24) with a wedge-shaped clamping element (26), where the housing (24) has at least two stop surfaces (30,32) matched to the wedge-shaped clamping element (34). One end (14) of the belt (12) can be clamped by tensile force applied through the tensioning element (32) in any lengths between the clamping element (34) and at least one of the stop surfaces (30,32) of the housing (24).</p> |
