<p>When the vehicle enters the unit the bristle carrying drums (1, 6), joined to the transversal part of the portal in different angles are positioned opposite as well as slightly behind each other, rotating in opposite directions (4, 5). As soon as the first brush (1) touches the front of the vehicle a sensor activates the drive moving the brushes (1, 6) sideward in order to clean the lateral area of the car, reaching particularly into the cavities located at the body. The forces created by a rope and pulley arrangement provided with a weight result in a pulling force acting on the mechanism and keeping the system balanced.</p> |
