The detection light is fluorescence, luminescence, phosphorescence, reflected light and/or diffused scattered light. The light separation system has at least one light reflection section, and at least one light transmission section, to direct the illuminating light at the sample and allow the reflected light to pass through it, or to couple the illuminating light and uncouple the detection light.
