PURPOSE: A traffic signal lamp control system using a cable modem is provided to simplify a structure of wires and reduce the cost of construction by using the power cable modem to transmit various information. CONSTITUTION: A traffic signal lamp control system includes a plurality of traffic signal lamp modules(200-1,200-4), a couple of power cables(L1,L2), and a main controller(100). The traffic signal lamp modules are used for receiving a control command of the main controller through a cable modem(400). The power cables are used for connecting the traffic signal lamp modules with the main controller. The main controller provides the control command to the traffic signal modem through the cable modem to control a traffic signal lamp.
