The electrical connections for electrical cables [29] is provided by contact elements within a housing [28]. The contacts [10] are formed as metal pressings [10] that are formed with apertures through which the exposed end [18] of the cable is inserted. The contacts have spring arms [15] that grip into the wire core and resist removal.
