PURPOSE: An alignment film printing apparatus and a printing method using the printing apparatus are provided to uniformly coat polyimide and efficiently use the polyimide. CONSTITUTION: An alignment film printing apparatus includes left and right dispensers(300,300a), left and right doctor rolls(310,310a), left and right anilox rolls(320,320a), a printing roll(330), and a print table(360). The left and right dispensers are provided with an orientation material(301,301a) from left and right supply lines to dispense the material. The left and right doctor rolls receive the orientation material from the left and right dispensers. The left and right anilox rolls are engaged with the left and right doctor rolls. The printing roll accepts the orientation material from the left and right anilox rolls to transfer the material onto a substrate. A mask having an opening is attached to the surface of the printing roll. The print table supports the substrate. |
