PURPOSE: An apparatus for fabricating an outer casing of a muffler is provided to automatically produce the outer casing of the muffler by automatically performing a curling process without welding an end of an iron plate. CONSTITUTION: A joint part processing device is moved up and down by means of a cylinder. A discharging lever is installed at a rear end of the joint part processing device. A core(12) is fixed to one end of a body(10). A discharging guide rod(12a) is formed at one end of the core(12). A lifting member(30) is moved up and down by means of hydraulic pressure. A pressing member(34) is installed at an upper center portion of the lifting member(30). A guide(36) is provided at upper surfaces of left and right end parts(30a,30b) of the lifting member(30). A mounting table(44) is placed on the guide(36) of the lifting member(30) so as to slidably move along the guide(36). A sliding member(40) is installed in opposition to the left and right end parts(30a,30b) of the lifting member(30).
