PURPOSE: A structure for opening a cover(folder) of a cellular phone is provided to easily open the cover by using one hand without an automatic opening device. CONSTITUTION: A body unit of a cellular phone and a cover(folder) of the cellular phone are coupled by hinges. A thumb groove(11) is formed at the body unit and a thumb line(12) is formed at the cover. If a user holds the cellular phone by a left hand and attaches a thumb to the thumb groove(11), an end of the thumb reaches the thumb line(12). The user pushes up the cover following the thumb groove(11) and the thumb line(12). The cellular phone is secured on the palm of the left hand when the cover opens.
