PURPOSE: An oil circuit used in a continuously variable valve timing device is provided to reduce manufacturing cost and to ensure a sealing area for controlling oil pressure by simplifying a structure of an oil slot. CONSTITUTION: An advanced oil slot(712), a retard oil slot(714), an advanced oil hole and a retard oil hole are formed on a journal(720) of a cam shaft(710), which is advanced or retarded according to an operation of a continuously variable valve timing device. The advanced oil slot(712) is formed along a circumferential direction of the journal(720) of the cam shaft(710). The retard oil slot(714) is formed along the circumferential direction of the journal(720) of the cam shaft(710) while being spaced from the advanced oil slot(712). The advanced oil hole is formed at an inner portion of the journal(720) of the cam shaft(710). The retard oil hole is formed in parallel to the advanced oil hole.
