PURPOSE: Provided are a pouch for containing a far infrared ray emitting body which contains a uniform number of far infrared ray emitting bodies, thereby maintaining uniform product quality and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The pouch for containing a far infrared ray emitting body includes a net type covering member(130); a guide member(120) and a bottom member(110), which are integrally fused at their edges. The guide member(120) is made of a synthetic resin thin film and is equipped with a plurality of cylindrical main walls(121). The guide member(120) is fixed on the bottom member(110). In the space formed by the main walls of the guide member and the bottom member, particulate far infrared ray emitting bodies(1) are contained. The covering member is disposed around the guide member and the far infrared ray emitting bodies to cover them.
