The present invention relates to coated particles having each a core of starch and/or protein material, an internal coating comprising an emulsifying agent and an external coating comprising edible fat. Disclosed is also a process for producing the coated particle, which process comprises spraying the emulsifier dissolved in oil onto starch and/or protein particles, whereby edible fat is then sprayed onto the resulting product, which is subsequently cooled down. |
