PURPOSE: To provide a looper thread filature device by which a looper thread filature can be easily returned to its reference position when the looper thread filature for adjusting the filature and tightening of looper thread is removed or displaced. CONSTITUTION: The looper thread filature 3 is set in its optimum position under standard sewing conditions and is fixed to a rotating shaft 5 with screws 14. Then a notch 4a of a rotating member 4 is aligned with a notch 3a of the looper thread filature 3, and the rotating member 4 is fixed to the end 5a of the rotating shaft 5 with a screw 8. If the looper thread filature 3 is removed or displaced after that, it is returned to its reference position by adjusting the position of the looper thread filature 3 in such a way that the notch 3a of the looper thread filature 3 is aligned with the notch 4a of the rotating member 4.
