APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING DEFLECTION OF STRIP IN STRIP COOLING FACILITY OF CONTINUOUS ANNEALING LINE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling deflection of strip in strip cooling facility of continuous annealing line is provided to prevent friction between strip and dryer by sensing the deflection state of the strip and moving the dryer according to position of the strip so that the strip is always positioned in the center of the dryer. CONSTITUTION: In a dryer(120) of cooling facility in continuous annealing line, the apparatus for controlling deflection of strip(150) in strip cooling facility of continuous annealing line comprises a strip position sensing part comprising sensing sensors(20) installed at left and right sides of the lower part of an entrance(11) of the dryer to sense strip, and a controller(21) for detecting position of the strip by computing signals of the sensing sensors; and a moving part comprising guide rails(40) put on in a width direction of the strip, a rail block(41) installed at the lower part of the dryer and put on the guide rails so that the rail block is slid along the guide rails, a transfer screw(42) installed in a width direction of the strip between the guide rails, a female screw member(43) installed at the lower part of the dryer and engaged with the transfer screw, and a driving motor(44) connected to the transfer screw to rotate the transfer screw according to signals of the controller so that the strip is positioned in the center of the dryer by moving position of the dryer itself according to signals of the sensing part.
