Stator blade platform for a gas turbine engine

The distributor blade platform has an inner surface (12) supporting at least one guide blade (14) and an outer surface (18) with a radial flange (20) dividing a cooling air passage (21) from a cavity (22). Between the blade's trailing edge (14a) and the downstream end (16) of the platform its inner surface has a coating (26) forming a thermal barrier that accentuates the thermal gradient created by the air swirling inside the cavity (22). The outer surface of the platform can have swirling projections in the form of parallel straight, inclined or curved ribs or rows of points. On the upstream side of the flange the platform is pierced with air emission holes to promote cooling.
