PURPOSE: A method for fast processing a subscriber registration by a profile provision in a network management system is provided to prevent a network management system user from mistaking in advance by taking a much-job case as an ES(Example Set), providing it to the user and batch-processing it. CONSTITUTION: An operator drives a 'subscriber set and reference' screen produced by a GUI(Graphical User Interface) in an EMS(Element Management System), refers to a current set state and inputs an interface ID of V5(2a). The operator sets an ES for a subscriber selection(2b). The operator inputs a parameter for setting a subscriber to an ES selected by the EMS(2c) and assigns an EMS subscriber ID(2d). The operator selects a target position to which a profile is to be applied according to a rack, a shelf, a unit and a port(2e), and generates a profile(2f). When the EMS transfers the profile to an NE(Network Element) by using an FTP(2g), an agent of the NE comes to a S/W module for analyzing the profile and performs a setting operation(2h). The NE transfers a trap(2j), and the EMS refers to the set state to confirm whether there is an error(2k).
