PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to achieve improved screen quality by permitting address discharges to be performed uniformly all over the scan lines. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises two or more upper electrodes formed on an upper substrate; and data electrodes(X1 to Xn) formed on a lower substrate in such a manner that the data electrodes are crossed with the upper electrodes and have widths which are set differently in accordance with the scanning direction. Each of the data electrodes has a width smaller in the scan line side where a scanning starts and larger in the scan line side where the scanning ends. The difference between the minimum width and the maximum width of the data electrode is set at the level lower than 50%. |
