PURPOSE: Provided is a Trim water formulation that minimizes acidification from forming inside the mouth to treat dental caries. The Trim water may be provided in the form of mouthwash or drinking formulations to treat dental caries. CONSTITUTION: A beverage is characterized by comprising Trim water which is acidic and/or alkaline. A method for preventing tooth decay is characterized by comprising administering an effective amount of Trim water to the tooth during or after eating.
