Support part on a frame encloses a filling plate, particularly a glazing, and has an elongate baseplate (12) which supports on an overlap surface of the frame, which parallel to the overlap surface has a holding strip groove of a holding strip applying pressure to the filling plate. A retainer of the baseplate out of an area of the overlap surface clamp-engages in the holding strip groove and/or above it presses on the holding strip. The retainer is of one-piece construction with the baseplate. It is a cross brace (16) extending from the baseplate and practically engages in the plane of the baseplate in the holding strip groove. The retainer is formed with an engagement piece (18) matched to the profiling of the holding strip groove and/or of a glass strip foot.
