PURPOSE: A universal joint shaft is provided to easily produce and to reduce noise by arranging a connecting member to transfer rotating force between shafts and to be folded axially. CONSTITUTION: A connecting member(60) is arranged between the tips of a driving shaft(40) and a slave shaft(50) to transfer rotating force between the tips and to be folded axially at the same time. Thereby, the productivity is improved by connecting the driving shaft with the slave shaft through the simple connecting member. Moreover, the generation of noise is suppressed by removing the clearance and the friction in the rotating direction and the axial direction of the connecting member.
