PURPOSE: A filtering system with self-cleaning function is provided in which a filter part contaminated by foreign materials is cleaned so that filtering is continuously performed without exchange of the contaminated filter part. CONSTITUTION: The filtering system with self-cleaning function is characterized in that first filtering tower(1) and second filtering tower(1') filled with ball shaped filter media is filled are respectively installed in upper space and lower space separated by a latticed grid, a fluid entrance formed on the upper part of the filtering towers(1,1') respectively is connected to any one side of waste fluid supply pipe(31) and foreign material discharge pipe(32) by operation of three-way valve, a fluid entrance formed on the lower part of the filtering towers(1,1') respectively is connected to any one side of filtered fluid discharge pipe(33) and connection pipe(34) by operation of three-way valve, and the connection pipe(34) is connected to cleaning water supply pipe(34) and steam supply pipe(36) having valves(35a,36a) respectively.
