PURPOSE: Provided is functional rice-water for steaming rice, thereby easily producing steamed rice having excellent appearance, smells and tastes and containing abundant nutrients. CONSTITUTION: Functional rice-water is characterized by comprising 20-80 wt.% of pine needle extract, mugwort extract, arrow root extract or the mixture thereof, 5-20 wt.% of chicory, and 10-60 wt.% of honey wax.
