PURPOSE: An auxiliary seat of a bus is provided to secure a passage for passengers near an entrance by folding a seat cushion downward in operating a switch. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary seat of a bus comprises a driving motor(14), a rod bar(16), and a seat cushion(13). The driving motor is installed to a specific portion of a safety panel and operated by operating a switch simply. The rod bar has a rack gear(15b) geared to a pinion gear(15a) of the driving motor. The rod bar is moved to the safety panel back and forth. The seat cushion is received into a support bracket(11) by a guide device. An end of the seat cushion is fixed to a rotating shaft of a tip of the rod bar. The guide device comprises a protrusion portion(18) and a sliding guide groove(19). The protrusion portion is protruded to rear both sides of the seat cushion. The sliding guide groove is formed to the support bracket to guide the seat cushion to be folded. Thereby, a passage for passengers of an entrance is secured by adhering a seat back and the seat cushion to the safety panel.
